The Spanish Sierra Nevada ski resort is perched at 2100m, and is covered with snow practically all year round, even though it's one of Europe's most southerly resorts. It is the ideal destination for high altitude skiing, with 85km of slopes between 2100m and 3295m. This area is also excellent for snowboarders as there is a snowpark and half-pipe.
