Ski and snowboard hire Sierra Nevada
The Spanish Sierra Nevada ski resort, perched at 2100m, is covered with snow practically all year round even though it is one of the most southerly resorts in Europe. It is the ideal place for high altitude skiing, with 85km of pistes between 2100m and 3295m. Also ideal for snowboarders because there is a snowpark and a halfpipe. Despite the warmer air temperature at Sierra Nevada than in other resorts, the snow is excellent there thanks to one of the most advanced snowmaking systems in the continent and a great number of snowmaking machines. Only 30km away from Grenada, you will find a great number of activities at Sierra Nevada: fitness centre, indoor swimming pools, saunas, squash courts, paragliding, indoor tennis, tobogganing, skidoo, ice skating… When it come to après-ski at Sierra Nevada, there are bars, nightclubs, dancing, diners… People there go out a lot at night thanks to the warm temperatures. If you’re looking for a more cultural après-ski , you will happy to find cathedrals, the Alhambra Palace in Grenada and even the Royal Chapel.
